First blog will be about the 1 star Michelin star , on the second blog i will talk about 2 star Michelin stars and lastly in my third entry i will be writing about 3 star Michelin stars. Hopefully you will enjoy this read and gather some knowledge about michelin star and will be able to see the difference between all 3 stars.
in this first part of my blog i will share with you in details what it mean to have Michelin stars . in this first entry we will focus on 1 star Michelin restaurant .so lets start off with talking about what a Michelin star means for the customer and for the restauranteur. around the world the Michelin guide send out full time restaurant reviewers anonymously, usually these reviewers are passionated about food have a very good eye for details . a lot of people think that Michelin stars are awarded for how the restaurant looks inside i.e the decor , the service quality or table settings. when a Michelin reviewer comes to you're restaurant he/she looks at how the food looks is everything the same with every plate , for instance this shows a high consistency of the dishes , that every dish is prepared with same effort, extravagance and love .
now talking about 1 star Michelin restaurant, This is what is meant, as Akila McConnell mentioned ( McConnell, 2014, p1) “ A good place to stop on your journey, indicating a very good restaurant in its category, offering cuisine prepared to a consistently high standard”.
form my personal experience i do not complete agree that its solely because of the food you get awarded a Michelin star because a restaurant works like a clock . take a piece out the clock stops working, with this i mean that lets take for instance if the food is 10/10 and the service was poor as a reviewers i wouldn't give a Michelin star to the restaurant because as a customer you want great food and great service.
… Too be continued, in the second blog entry we shall discuss the 2 star Michelin.
